A marriage of artistry and style, these one-of-a-kind sabra cushions are woven by talented artists in the Atlas Mountains. Rich with texture and expression, these pieces showcase the detailed handwork of indigenous Moroccan textiles. These cushions are often referred to as Cactus Silk, but are locally known as Sabra: a luxurious vegan alternative to silk, crafted from plant fibers. Each pillow varies slightly as is the charm and beauty of handmade products. The artist reaches the unique weathered look with a sun-bleaching color removal technique. There may be color and size variation, as well as slight blotching and bleeding. This is to be expected with handmade pieces. Each has embroidery on the front and is solid on the back with a side metal zipper closure.
